Our admission process is fair, transparent and merit-based, giving every applicant an equal opportunity without partiality or discrimination. The final selection is based on marks in the written entrance examination, subject to seat availability and the prescribed admission criteria.

Admission Process & Important Dates

  1. From January

    Registration

    Register offline at the school office, or online at entab.online/nhsjat.

  2. March – beginning of April

    Written entrance examination

    Assesses the child's academic knowledge, understanding and aptitude.

  3. After the examination

    Merit-based selection

    Qualified candidates are selected on entrance marks, subject to seat availability. The admission process then closes.

Eligibility (Age)

  • Nursery3+ years
  • LKG4+ years
  • UKG5+ years
  • Class 16+ years

As per the age guidelines of the National Education Policy.

Required Documents

Nursery to Class I

Child's original Date of Birth Certificate, plus:

Class II to X

Transfer Certificate countersigned by the CEO, plus:

  • 6 passport-size photographs
  • Aadhaar card copy of student, mother and father
  • Ration card copy
  • Blood report
  • APAAR ID and PEN number
  • Marks sheet of previous class passed (and TC for LKG, UKG and Class I)
  • Social category certificate, if any

Admission & Withdrawal

Admission

  1. The first admission to the school is in Nursery. Admission to other classes depends on vacancies.
  2. Admission is granted by the Principal after the child qualifies in a written or oral test, or both.
  3. For a first admission, the child's original (laminated) date of birth certificate from the competent authority must accompany the application form.
  4. No student is admitted without a Transfer Certificate from the last school attended, countersigned by a competent authority of the Education Department.
  5. Particulars given on the admission form are final and cannot be changed later.
  6. Recommendations or pressure of any kind will reduce the chance of admission.

Withdrawal

  1. One month's written notice must be given to the office to withdraw a student.
  2. The Transfer Certificate is issued only after the term fees are paid in full, and is charged separately.
  3. Admission to the school implies that the pupil and parents agree to follow the school's rules and regulations.
  4. The Principal's decision on all matters of admission and withdrawal is final.
